I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. I believe it completely throws off the aesthetics of the room. I will be hiding the remote behind something because no way do I want a black remote on the wall. I wish it was white (. Laura. We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. I got this as an open box item and it was in perfect new condition! The instructions weren’t as clear, so I found a YouTube video of a similar fan. When attaching the blade part, make sure to turn the piece COUNTER CLOCKWISE to tighten instead of the usual clockwise. Super hard to get together. Looks different than the picture on the site but it’s still very pretty. Directions were difficult to understand but it got done. Looks beautiful in the kitchen. Over all the product was very good for the price. Had 1 broken glass flower but since they sent 2 extra things were fine. Would have given it 5 stars if the directions were better.
