Lovely sconce - very nice brushed brass/gold finish nice neutral shade. LED lights are easy to charge and place. Only reason for 4 stars is that the “white light” option is too bright white/ cool in color for my liking. If it were a warm white I would be totally in love with these sconces! Remote works well. In my picture you can see how bright the sconces are compared to the nice warm color of the bedside lamp. This is the sconces on the “white” setting at low brightness. I love the idea that these sconces are not hardwired. These are really nice sconces! They look high end, but are rechargeable so no hardwiring required! I did deduct a star because the shades arrived damaged. Besides the shade damage I would completely get them again! Love that the bulbs look like bulbs (and are so easy to recharge)! I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. These sconces were perfect. I have very tiny nightstands and one of the bedrooms of my Airbnb. Lamps would definitely not fit there so these were perfect to give my guest some extra lighting at night. If I had to give one complaint, it would be that the switch on the cord is way too low. We put these up today - and they are beautiful for our daughter’s room! They are woven, with a rattan, and look super textural. They have this sweet little scallop detail at the end of the shade, and the gold detailing on the arm of the sconces looks good. The one qualm I have, if any, is that the 40 watt bulb necessary is not a standard voltage, so the bottom portion of the bulb is not a standard size. Luckily, we had a set of these bulbs in our home.
