This is a very very heavy door, which is perfect for a barn door, but not a one person job. My biggest issue is that the last two pieces of glass I had to saw out the wood as they would not slide into the grooves. I even tried to swap them out with other pieces. It was very time-consuming and ruined part of the track that took the glass slides into, but it was the only way to get the door fully together. It is otherwise a very nice addition to our home.. Package arrived, and it was a miracle none of the pieces fell out. My hat is off to the delivery driver, who must have worked hard to deliver all together. I just completed the staining using coffee which gave it a beautiful golden brown color, the wood took it well and I was pleased with the quality of the wood and frosted glass. I then added a couple of coats of tung oil which I do not recommend. I sanded it down and stained it again, but this time applied one coat of satin varnish and wow, turned out beautiful!!. Debra. This product is very solid and high quality. Only thing I didn’t like was that the satin nickel rail is 3 pieces for an 8 foot rail. Makes installation more difficult than a one or two piece rail. The other door I purchased used a black rail that was 2 pieces. Other than that the door is solid and easy to assemble but very heavy. I am giving this five stars because everything came intact. I could see once I get it up it will be exactly what I wanted. However, I was not thinking when I ordered it that my thermostat would be in the way. The reason why I do not have a picture of it fully up yet is because now I have to figure out how to bring it out at least by 2 inches so when the door slides back it will not interfere with the thermostat. I will update my review as soon as I can figure out I'm thinking about getting a 2x4 board to go across my wall and then I think I could attach everything else.
