This ceiling fan looks beautiful over the bed in our beach house. It is unique in the way that the rattan is in lines and is also done in a double layer like light. It has a ceiling fan that is attached to top of it and you use remote control to open the fan up and to close it. When it’s closed it just sits folded up at top. When you want to use it you push button and speed and it circulates and the blades unfold and open as it picks up speed. It looks amazing. Again. Very unique. Still looks coastal but also a more modern version of the coastal look as opposed to the older leaf like blades that have been around forever. The color is light and neutral so it goes with many things. You can put different types of bulbs in it as well as different shades of color. It went up easily and it seems to be made very well. This fanlight is so cool looking! I put it in my back hallway right near the air intake, and it keeps the air moving enough (even on the low setting of 2 out of 6) to keep my AC from turning on too often because of stagnant air. The bulbs I have in it are just 2 tiny nightlight bulbs. It holds 4 bulbs, so I think I will buy low watt LED filament (Edison bulbs) because I do like the look the clear bulbs give off thru the wicker. Very beachy feeling! This is a high quality fan light with good features. The light is adjustable in both brightness and warm/cool so I can set it exactly how I like it. Love that feature. It looks really beautiful in my bedroom. The fan puts off a very nice breeze and is very quiet. The downsides: my old traditional ceiling fan had separate switches for the fan and the light, and this fan doesn't work with the second separate fan switch. Also if you turn it off using the wall switch, it preserves the last light setting but not the fan setting, so you would have to turn the fan back on with the remote any time you use the switch. Shout out to the manufacturer and to wayfair. There was an issue with my order missing some of the screws. They resolved my issue quickly and hassle-free. I really appreciate it.. Diana. Beautiful farmhouse ceiling fan with light. Love the black and wood look accents for this fanlight. You do need to purchase your own bulbs. My guest are going to love the new addition to the room. It came well packaged and protected. Shipping was super fast. Happy that it comes with a remote control. I kept looking for a fan that would cover where the original light was and this one does it.
