A baby gate is just something you have to have. They work or they don’t work. It really makes the space look much cleaner and as a plus we installed ours just high enough that robot vac glides right under it. The only downside is the amount of space that it takes up when the gate is being left open which for us is 43” We have doors on both sides of the gates so if the gate is left open in either direction you slam into it with the door. I was surprised that this pen was so large. I have little wiener dogs that like to be outside with me while I’m there. I got one of the largest pens which I could make a large rectangle shaped pen. It came in 2 boxes so that they would have lots of room. The backyard is completely fenced so I wanted the rectangular for the front. One box is plenty and I can use the 2nd set of panels for the other side of the yard. The panels seem sturdy and high enough for these smaller dogs. The only thing I have some concern with are the latches on the gates. They are quite small and I hope they are strong enough to hold the doors shut. There are 2 latches on each door.. Patty. US.
