I was on the fence about this protector before receiving. I have always used a mattress pad, but with my new mattress I was sleeping consistently hotter than usual. Well I called where I purchased my mattress and they explained most pads are made with fiber fill and that retains heat not allowing the mattress to breath. So I researched my mattress brand and got same answers. I found the Tempur Breeze protector to be the most mentioned. Yes the price did scare me I had just spent quite a bit on the mattress and now another 300. Well I did it and do not regret one minute. I sleep cooler and more comfortable. And yes it is water proof I tested it to see. Wayfair had the best price overall plus I had a little reward from where I had purchased something else a while back so that made the sting a little easier and if you need the 6 months to pay then that’s no brainer.. I always buy pillow covers when purchasing new pillows and always forget to save the ones that I liked from the prior purchase! These ones are great! I just washed them, they are a very strong yet soft cotton that will protect the pillow that I purchased. As you can see, they come in a very small package - all three that I ordered came in the same box. It’s nice to know that when I put the pillowcase over the protector, nothing is getting into the pillow. Once they were washed, I put them on my standard size company store pillow – and it had room to spare if the pillow is a little larger - however we’re not too big as to not fit the pillow.. This worked fabulous on cement and sitting in spa/hot tub you would never know it. Made the hot tub very comfortable to sit in and went together easy.
