It did come with some rust like marks on one side, but the other side looks just fine. I did tear it a little with my thumb when I was trying to position it better on the bed, which surprised me. This Beautyrest topper really helps! After a 10 year old Serta Perfect sleeper had started to fail, I thought this would help my osteoarthritic and scoliosis lower back to give more support in order to sleep better until I can replace the platform bed mattress.
