Originally, these we’re supposed to be for the living room but I found them to be too low for guests to really get comfy, especially guys. Decided to move them to my room which was perfect because the low backs did not obstruct the beautiful hill views I have. Pretty comfy. Easy to put together once I figured out their instructions. Their instructions were terrible and photos didn’t help. But once you figure it out, pretty easy. I purchased 2 for my small living room. They’re lower than a normal chair, but sit pretty comfortably. Not sure how long the cushions will last. The chair itself I like, it’s sturdy and make of heavy real wood. The chair is pretty comfortable though the quality of the cushions I don’t believe would hold up to long term use. This is in our basement so I think it will be fine for here and there. Why 4 stars The assembly was terrible. The instructions were not clear. They need to provide different Allen wrench, lucky got me my husband had a tool that helped or I was so frustrated. So get yourself the auto retract took or this will take forever to assemble due to the way the holes are set. Also note there should be another step they combined two and it was confusing to the point I had to take part off and redo. It does sit lower for a living room chair too so note that.
