The table is solid, heavy, well built, and easy to put together. The color of the top was darker than what I had hoped for but that is a struggle with buying online. The only issue with this table is the leg design if you want to seat 6. Because of the footprint that the table base has, you have to be very specific about where the chairs are placed. if you want to put chairs on the ends, those chairs will not fit well because of the necessary placement of the side chairs. This was difficult to put together as some of the threads for the bolts were not placed straight but at a slight angle. One of the supporting pieces of wood was so bowed the bolt wasnt long enough to reach through without us putting a ton of pressure on the piece to make it lie flat and we could hear it cracking. Also the Allen wrench that came with this was misshapen at the long end making it useless for reaching into the recessed areas to tighten the bolts.
