I took a chance and had bought this when there were no reviews but then I was worried after reading recent reviews. I’m so glad we put this up. Installation seemed really easy but we used a professional who had done these before and it only took him an hour. We have the gold one and it replaced three gold and white pendants that were hanging vertically. The style and linear shape fit better with our kitchen. I am pleased to see veining on the alabaster shade. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as you can see the tiny screws on the metal holding the shade if you look closely. Timeless lighting. I’m loving the delicate linen fabric on the shade. Even though the drum was wrapped in plastic, there was a bit of glue from factory assembly, but I was able to peel it off. Something I couldn’t fix (and the reason for the 4 stars) is a small outward bend in the metal drum frame, noticeable from above. This changes the shape slightly, but not to the degree that it is noticeable when hung. Despite this small flaw, I really love this chandelier.
