I took a chance and had bought this when there were no reviews but then I was worried after reading recent reviews. I’m so glad we put this up. Installation seemed really easy but we used a professional who had done these before and it only took him an hour. We have the gold one and it replaced three gold and white pendants that were hanging vertically. The style and linear shape fit better with our kitchen. I am pleased to see veining on the alabaster shade. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as you can see the tiny screws on the metal holding the shade if you look closely. An amazing light! I really like it, and it significantly enhances the dining room. The final look is beautiful and absolutely worth it. That said, there are a few important things to be aware of before purchasing: • Installation time: It took me about 4 hours to install on my own. The process involves wiring and assembling multiple individual chandelier pieces that come separately in the box. • Mounting difficulty: It is extremely difficult to align and secure the four screws when attaching the fixture to the mounting bracket. • Mounting bracket issue: My mounting bracket was not straight, and I had to contact Wayfair to receive replacement parts. • Bulbs not included: The light bulbs are not included, so make sure to pre-order dimmable E12 candelabra bulbs along with a dimmable switch. • Weight consideration: This fixture is quite heavy. Even if you have drywall, you must use proper heavy-duty drywall anchors or fasteners; otherwise, the fixture may not be securely supported. Looks wonderful! Was exactly was we were looking for. Very easy to install and came with great instructions to put together. Height was easily adjusted and I love that it can be used on a vaulted ceiling and our normal dining ceiling as well. I have already recommended this to many people and can’t say enough about it.
