These flameless taper candles genuinely feel like real wax, not the cheap plastic-y shells you find on a lot of budget flameless candles. The flame tip has that typical budget-tier flicker, but its a step up from the bottom-tier candles Ive tried. Setup was easy. The base screws on and off without any fuss, and each candle only needs two AAA batteries. My favorite feature by far is the touch control. I dont have to pull the candle out of the candlestick to turn it on or off, and I dont have to hunt down some tiny remote that inevitably gets lost. I just touch the tip and the light comes on, so simple and convenient. That alone is why Im giving these 5 stars.. Brett. Florida. Sat Sep 26 2026

These candles emit a soft glow and are easy to turn on and off by pinching the flame. However, when they are off I don’t think they look as elegant as a real tapered candle. I really enjoy these candles. I like to have them on the timer function where they come on around sundown and turn off around bedtime.
