I got this bed for my 8 year old daughter. Her previous bed had a bigger footprint that made her room very small. So I got this because it had shelves that didn't add to the width and canvas drawers for her art and toys. She LOVES it. It takes a while to build because there are a lot of parts, but it's an easy build. If you enjoy that process it helps :) The highlight is the strip light. My daughter just loves it and it makes her room look so much more her style. I do recommend the bed. It's sturdy. I only wish the it had more of a proper headboard. But she doesn't care.. Marianne. Perfect for households with scratching cats! All metal construction so scratching is not an issue. Instructions could have been better. This would have made the build a bit easier. Using it as a basement couch with a wayward brand twin mattress and it’s working great. Realistically replacing a twin mattress is far cheaper than replacing a scratched up sofa. So far no scratching of the mattress.. Anonymous. Lexington, KY. Fri Oct 02 2026
