Bassett Furniture Daybed

The daybed with a pop-up trundle features clean lines, attractive angles, and plenty of classic style. Crafted from kiln-dried wood, it comes in a sleek finish that blends rustic and traditional for a standout look we love. The pop-up easily stores under the bed and wheels out and up when you have overnight guests. It can also combine with the daybed, transforming this piece from two twin beds to a king. Two innerspring mattresses are included, and they're wrapped and generously padded for plenty of support whenever you need to use them.

These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026

I was so hesitant to buy something like this online but the dimensions and fabric were exactly what I wanted so I proceeded. I LOVE it. Looks more like a couch than a bed and its comfortable to stretch out on the upholstered sides.. Joan. Rutherford, NJ. Fri Aug 21 2026

Beautiful daybed for my den space! Easy to assemble. I wish it came with a cover for the mattress that matches the fabric on the frame. That’s my only complaint.. Melaine. Everett, WA. Fri Jul 24 2026

Lovely daybed was exactly what my space needed. I have a great place to read and a place for a guest to sleep. I added a twin mattress that is really comfortable (Novaform).. Anonymous. Fri Oct 23 2026

This twin daybed delivers a versatile sleeping and seating solution for your space. It's crafted from a solid rubberwood frame and features rattan webbing panels for a breezy, textured look. The included pop-up trundle wheels out on casters to easily convert the daybed into a larger sleeping surface or two separate twin beds. With its finished back, you can place it anywhere in your home. Plus, the solid wood slats provide plenty of support for your mattresses.

Very happy with this purchase! The bed is sturdy and looks great. One helpful thing to know make sure to purchase an 8-inch mattress for the bottom trundle. The listing doesn’t specify a mattress thickness, and anything thicker than 8 inches will prevent the trundle from sliding underneath the bed properly. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to figure out what size mattress to order!. Shauna Monae. Ventura, CA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Swap between daytime sofa and overnight guest bed with ease by adding this daybed to your space. Crafted from solid and engineered wood, it features an antique white finish, distressed details, and carved accents for a French country feel in any space. The back of this piece is upholstered in chenille tweed with button tufting for a look that not only complements this piece's farmhouse style, but also adds a soft spot to lean against during the day. Plus, a lower trundle allows you to easily sleep two guests! The included slat kits let this piece support twin-size mattresses (not included).

Love it so much and the people that came and set it up for me were so professional, and so good at doing their job!!!. Sally. Amarillo, TX. Sat Aug 01 2026

This daybed provides a streamlined solution for lounging by day and hosting guests by night. This piece is ideal for a home office or guest room where maximizing floor space is a priority. The integrated pop-up trundle rests on smooth-rolling casters for easy movement and can be raised to create an even sleeping surface. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

Color is just right and matches our pine furnishings. Bed went togather well. It looks good from a distance. Up close the finger joints do show under the lighter tone of the stain and finish. But overall this piece looks good. It is only 74 inches long and many twin mattresses are listed as 75 inches long. Also the standard 39 inch wide mattress will overhang about 3 inches. I used a 10 inch thick mattress and am sorry. The bed is quite high and not useful as a couch now. The limitations may not be as clear in online info as they could be. But it is a fairly priced and attractive daybed.. Diane. Washington State. Tue Sep 01 2026

The bed is very nice, however we did not receive all of the proper screws. There was suppose to 20 of a particular screw. Only received 12 and 8 more of a different screw that didn’t fit anything. Had to find screws to replace the 8 missing. Very frustrating, but we made it work put.. Altrea Jinwright. Fri Sep 18 2026
