LOVE this Drury Lane dining table! It took awhile to arrive but was worth the wait. After ordering it I was nervous that there might be a piece of wood on the bottom of the basket part blocking my sight from the top of the table to the floor. But there wasn't. You can see the floor from the top of the table. We purchased the 47 or 48" and the glass took three adults to lift the glass to put on top of the base. The glass has a nice beveled edge and the with the weight of it I don't see it moving an inch if someone accidentally bumps into it. As a side note...my husband loves the new look the table provides. This is a very nice table, excellent quality and very well made. It is solid and sturdy, and quite heavy, which makes it feel secure and suitable for outdoor use, even in high-wind situations. Wayfair also offered free assembly, and the delivery team put the table together, which made the entire process easy and stress-free. We have this table on our screened-in porch, and it looks absolutely beautiful. The wicker is slightly lighter in tone than I originally expected, but it’s elegant, neutral, and blends well with our outdoor furniture. The solid wood X-style (trestle/horse-style) legs are gorgeous; the craftsmanship of the wood is excellent and adds a high-end look. The glass top is great, it’s practical, easy to clean, and protects the wicker while still allowing it to show through. It apprears to be a manufactureing or shipping issue. On top of that, the shipping was delayed, which made the wait frustrating. I hope the seller improves on both fronts.
