Lots of issues during shipment. Some help from customer service, but my assembly service was canceled so I had to hire someone to assemble. Item was protected by inside wrapping. Outside box did not hold up well to so many trips off and on trucks 3 times over the whole continent. Assembly instructions did not match this item and holes drilled did not match up correctly. In the web photo the headboard and side panels join seamlessly. In real life the headboard is about 5 inches above the bed frame even though we lowered it as much as possible. This bed is exactly what I was looking for and even better than expected. It was very easy to put together and as you build it, it’s apparent how quality and well-designed it is. The slats are genius. There are two sets of six slates, each attached by a Velcro strap at each end. The Velcro straps then attach to the top of the bed frame.
