These stands seem very sturdy, they look nice and I think they are a good size. They did take a while to assemble, because of so many screws by me using a screwdriver. Packaged rather nicely, but still came with a few minor chips. I did appreciate the pre-drilled holes and the fact that it came with its own little screwdriver which came in handy in some of the tight corners. Some of the wood was weirdly stained but in the end if it’s going outside it’s not going to be perfect and the rustic look is a choice. This is a very substantial planter box. It is made of manufactured wood and quite heavy. I got the 4 ft.² model and it’s lovely. The weight of the package when it arrives is about 35 pounds for the 4 ft.² piece. Side pieces are a little over 10 inches high, which makes plenty of depth for planting vegetables or flowers. I can’t wait to get this planted, it’s going to look beautiful. It’s made very substantially and I expect it to hold up for a very long time very pleased with it.
