These stands seem very sturdy, they look nice and I think they are a good size. They did take a while to assemble, because of so many screws by me using a screwdriver. they are sturdy once you have the dirt in them, but seem a bit flimsy when empty. Be careful filling them, as I had my neighbor help me fill with his john deer and we had to go very slowly and level the dirt in layers so it didnt warp the shape. Great garden bed. Instructions are vague as to the order of assembly and a bit tricky to assembly for one person because it's 4' x 8' (it's about 4" short of the 4x8 on both ends but still lots of room) but with a second person as extra set of hands, it went fairly quickly. The is contact paper is only on the outside of the panels. I suppose it's optional to remove but me being OCD, I removed it all. A bit time consuming but worth it. All the sides are 1 ft tall so the sides are two rows tall to get close to 2ft. Here's a tip to save you time... make sure the bottom of the top row panel overlaps on the outside of the top of the bottom row panel. Keep everything UNTIGHTENED until it's all together. Then go around and tighten it up. The rubber stripping is nice. It's snug and you get more than you need to be prepared to cut it to length. Consider wearing some kind of protective gloves so you don't get cut on the edges... I didn't wear any but I was diligent in handling the panels. Overall, great garden bed. Buddy. Bartlett, IL. This is a very substantial planter box. It is made of manufactured wood and quite heavy. I got the 4 ft.² model and it’s lovely. The weight of the package when it arrives is about 35 pounds for the 4 ft.² piece. Side pieces are a little over 10 inches high, which makes plenty of depth for planting vegetables or flowers. I can’t wait to get this planted, it’s going to look beautiful. It’s made very substantially and I expect it to hold up for a very long time very pleased with it.
