These stands seem very sturdy, they look nice and I think they are a good size. They did take a while to assemble, because of so many screws by me using a screwdriver. they are sturdy once you have the dirt in them, but seem a bit flimsy when empty. Be careful filling them, as I had my neighbor help me fill with his john deer and we had to go very slowly and level the dirt in layers so it didnt warp the shape. This is a very substantial planter box. It is made of manufactured wood and quite heavy. I got the 4 ft.² model and it’s lovely. The weight of the package when it arrives is about 35 pounds for the 4 ft.² piece. Side pieces are a little over 10 inches high, which makes plenty of depth for planting vegetables or flowers. I can’t wait to get this planted, it’s going to look beautiful. It’s made very substantially and I expect it to hold up for a very long time very pleased with it.
