I already had the chairs and they matched great! The quality is not solid wood, but for the price Id be surprised if it was. It is definitely a very dark color almost black. Overall Im happy with this table!. Sandra. Plainfield , IL. Tue Oct 13 2026

Very nice table! Seems very high end and sturdy. Easy to put together. I’m tempted to seal the top so saltcrumbs etc. don’t get stuck in the small grooves, but I’m afraid to lose the beautiful matte finish.. Jennifer. Menomonie, WI. Tue Jul 14 2026

This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . Great table! It arrived in perfect condition. The legs are screw-in so they install quickly. I'm going to use my table as a desk as well as for meals, so I wanted a table with legs for extra stability, and I was surprised to find out it's difficult to find a 40-42" table with legs that doesn't look extremely basic. This one has nicely-shaped legs. I didn't try the extension mechanism yet. I only wish it had come in black but the gray color is nice.. Sandra. Chicago, IL. Mon Jul 20 2026

For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026
