It's not nearly as cool as an air conditioner but it's better than hot dry air blowing when it's too warm out. It comes with 4 ice packs so you can use two and have two in the freezer to switch out. The fan looks really nice and doesn't take up a large footprint. It has given me the ability to put off using the air conditioner a bit.
