Says two people to assemble, would have been faster with two, but I did it alone with some well positioned leaning supports to add bottom rails to sides. We had a problem with one piece being broken but Wayfair and the maker of the bed sent a replacement. We only waited a few days. The bed is very nice. My only problem with the bed is that it says to buy a 8” or 12” mattress for the trundle. We purchased the 8” and we are unable to push the trundle back under the bed. Overall a great bed but assembly was a bit tricky when it comes to the slats. There are no holes pre-drilled into the bed so you're just kind of guessing when it comes to spacing. This is a very pretty and well made platform bed. I love the two drawers on one side for storing blankets or sheets.
