This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. I bought it soecifi to slide u set the bed and pull out for when my daughter had sleep overs so her friends can sleep on it and it works perfect for that. I recently had to use it to when we had family stay in town. I like that it fits my fitted sheets and it’s pretty comfortable to sleep. My daughter likes that she can use it as a couch in her room. I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. This stylishly upholstered mattress looks great during the day and provides supportive sleep at night. The mattress is designed with a heavy gauge spring allowing you to sleep on either side. Finally, a mattress that looks as great as it feels.

Nice quality but be aware that the "aqua" is not actually aqua. It is closer to a denim blue. No greenish hue at all. The quality of the mattress itself is good. Definitely use a mattress protector under sheets before allowing guests to sleep on it. The cover has a zipper but it is not removable and can only be spot cleaned. It is decently comfortable. I bought the twin size for the top bunk, and I have no complaints. It is very lightweight, which made it easy to lift and place on the bunk bed.
