Two innerspring mattresses are included, and they're wrapped and generously padded for plenty of support whenever you need to use them.

We bought this daybed so we could comfortable sleep over after mom’s hip replacement. We used California king down-alternative bed pad and the bed is super comfortable. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. We love it! The velvet material is soft and cozy. We found a matching grey fitted sheet and zippered pillowcases to help pull it together to make it look more like a couch. This take time to put together! You will need a drill to drill in each piece of wood. The fabric is soft and collects dog hair easily. I used sharp scissors to open and nicked the fabric a bit. Bed is absolutely great, sturdy and cute! The instructions, however, are terrible. You can build this without a power tool but you won’t have a good time. The slats were a pain to screw in because the base didn’t have any holes. Doing that by hand gave me blisters that won’t go away any time soon. None of the parts were marked either so you really just have to guess which one is c vs which one is e and hope you’ve made the right move (we did but SHEESH). I got the green daybed. The colors were true emerald which is lovely next to house plants. The bed feels sturdy but my only issue was the lack of a central support beam. So I just built one from some planks of wood. All in all, I am very pleased with this piece of furniture and I get to enjoy it as a couch and just sit on it getting some sunlight while reading.
