Living in central Texas makes for hot nights. This bedspread is perfect for this climate. It is lightweight, yet heavy enough to keep you warm on cool nights. Being 100 cotton makes it ideal if you sleep hot. It doesn’t trap bodyheat like polyester does. I recommend washing it before putting it on the bed. It has a LOT of lintfuzz from the embroidery.
