My bed is low and I have a queen size bed - so I get the king size quilts so they are to the floor and I don’t have to look at the area between the quilt’s end and the floor (plus my platform bed will not keep a nice bed ruffle in place). I really like this quilt. It is lightweight, which is what I wanted and the color is color is beautiful. I guess it is technically a matelasse, but loosely quilted.
