I am extremely happy with this bed frame! It arrived well-packaged and all of the parts were clearly labeled, which made assembly much easier than I expected. While it did take some time to put together, the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together properly. The storage drawers are one of my favorite features. They slide smoothly and provide a surprising amount of extra storage space for blankets, sheets, seasonal clothing, and other items that would normally clutter up a bedroom. The built-in headboard shelving is also incredibly convenient for keeping everyday essentials within reach. The bed took forever to put together, definitely will need at least 2-3 people and ample time to assemble. The drawers suck. They do not slide in and out easily whatsoever. Practically every time I open a drawer, it’s a balancing act. Any sort of metal brackets would have been far better than whatever wood they gave us for the drawer slides. Crazy that the original price was so high when the quality of the product doesn’t even come close to being worth half the price. It is beautiful and feels heavy and stable. It does not squeak or move around. I placed the bed on the carpet and the drawers still move in and out easily. Drawers are made of solid wood. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour.
