I was very apprehensive about purchasing a bed online because it’s hard to know what you’re actually getting without seeing it in person. I’m happy to report that this king bed exceeded my expectations! The bed is made of real wood, which was important to me, and it feels incredibly sturdy. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. Love it! We purchased the king-size, black option. No shipping issues, delays or damage with our delivery. It is much lighter weight than it looks from the pictures, but it still feels substantial. Easy to assemble with the included hex wrench. It is just over 50 inches tall when adjusted to its tallest position (which is the height we chose). It is not suitable to be mounted to a wall, but we have a split king adjustable bed so we couldn't attach it to the bed frame. We engineered a way to attach it to the wall securely (4- 1x4 boards painted the wall color, and screwed into the wall studs and then the headboard attached securely to the boards using 4 painted conduit clamps). The bed just sits in front of the headboard, but is not connected. One picture shows the headboard secured to the wall. We really like the look, and feel it is a great value.. P. California. I purchased two of these beds. Before buying, I read several reviews mentioning that mattresses had fallen through, or that the bed had fallen apart. After assembling both frames, I can understand how that could potentially happen — at least with one of them. There was a noticeable difference in material quality between the two beds. One feels solid and sturdy, and the slats seem like they will hold up well. The other felt more fragile during assembly. The “wood” (not real wood) was splintering slightly while we were screwing the parts together, which makes me question the durability over time. Assembly took about 2.5 hours per bed with two people. They look great once assembled, and I really love how they turned out. However, the inconsistency between the two frames makes me think quality control may be an issue. A heavy-duty bed frame that will fit Queen bolt-on style headboards & footboards. You must have a headboard and footboard to use this frame. This frame requires a box spring or foundation. The queen-sized frame will have five (5) legs with the included center bar. The center bar for this frame is used side-to-side for queen bedding. This means this frame is not recommended for use with a split (2 pieces) box spring. The legs will adjust the frame height from 5 3/4" to 9 1/4" off the floor. The steel in this frame is a high strength, high carbon, hot-rolled steel. It is rolled using 97% recycled material producing a very strong and environmentally-friendly product. This frame utilizes a bolt-together assembly, which allows it to be adjusted to accommodate a wider variety of headboards and footboards. The frame simply bolts together through slots and holes in the rails with the provided hardware and tools at the correct width for the bedding being used. The brackets for the headboard and footboard can be quickly mounted to the frame using the provided tools and hardware. This allows for maximum adjustability to ensure that the frame will fit the width and height of your bed perfectly.
