Very sturdy bed with nice craftsmanship/materials. Paint was fine for the grey. Drawers are made of nice thick material. Not the cheap cardboard backing. The bed comes with 10 cross beams to support the mattress, but I added a few more from the bed I replaced. Didn't really need it, but just made a sturdy bed that much more. Be sure to add a drop of wood glue to the wood inserts, really helps over the long haul. Assembly too about 3-4 hours. Previously I have only purchased rugs from Wayfair, which I have always loved. I had never purchased any furniture. I was looking for a daybed and found one that I liked, so I bought it. This bed was just assembled this evening so I can’t attest to how well it holds up, but the assembly process was smooth and the bed feels like great quality.
