The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. The bed is beautiful and really high quality but it is gigantic in our room. If we had a bigger room, it would be perfect. (Our room is about 11’6” x 13’0”). Love the color, the quality. We bought a low profile box spring. I would not recommend getting a traditional box spring if you have a tall mattress!
