I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. Sometimes when my sheets come out of the dryer, I need to press them and the next time they come out of the dryer they will be creased in the same spot. Not these sheets! ABSOLUTELY NO IRONING!!! OK, mixed reviews on this one. I like them they are crisp and sound crisp “like paper” after washing. I think they are soft to touch but light enough for summer sleep.
