There are like 12 bolts needed in total. It’s very heavy once put together and takes up a lot of space width and height wise. I was thinking the benches would fold under the table and they do not. Because of that, it takes up a lot more room width wise than what I was expecting. On the plus size, this will be really nice for gatherings and the plastic tops will clean up really easily. The wood is beautiful and smells great, however all but one t-nut came out of the soft wood once I’d connected everything and turned the table over. It fell apart. The legs are made of 100% northern white cedar logs, with a pine bench and tabletop. The wood is naturally resistant to rot and insect damage. The table can be finished with a quality penetrating oil, or left to weather to a silvery gray color. Many, or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.
