Overall good, solid product. The top looks like real wood but it is actually a wood veneer. The cabinets were troublesome to hang. First of all I want to say I generally have no ability to put things together whatsoever! However, I was able to assemble this in a total of 6 1/2 hours all by myself. All the pieces come well marked including the fasteners, and they even give you extra hardware. I stripped one bolt so I was happy to have some replacements! The instructions were simple although daunting at first as there were so pictures to follow. I was easily able to keep up once I got into the rhythm and everything was well marked as far as what to do next. The end result is very nice! My barn doors don't randomly slide as one other reviewer commented on; however these rattle at every movement on the mattress. I'm not sure how I'm going to like that tonight when I sleep, or how to stop it from happening. I might have to jam something in the track to keep them blocked shut but that defeats the purpose of the storage doors! This is one reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The velcro slats are a great addition! I don't think there will be any movement and it feels very solid once put together. The box weighed 110 pounds, so I guess that tells you a little bit about how sturdy everything is. I purchased the khaki color which doesn't match my decor but works better than white would have. It is quite nice but I wish there were other colors (brown? black?) which is another reason for the 4 stars. Definitely happy to have purchased this and am looking forward to my first night on it although the barn door noise does make me a little nervous so if anyone has any solutions I'd love to hear them in your review!
