Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it. I had been eying a metallic backslash but was concerned that the kitchen would be too dark. I purchased the white vinyl tile to tie in with the white sink and I am so glad that I did. Its beautiful! Although I used liquid nails, I purchased the kit with edging so that if the tile sags down the road, the edging will keep it in place. I purchased this tile to surround my fireplace. The color was as pictured. Packaged well no broken tiles. Wish tiles were sold separately as well. We looked everywhere for someone to put this up for us. None would tackle it. So my husband and I put it up ourselves. Took a long time as we had to level the ceiling in an old house (about 10 hours) and then trying to get all the tiles up while working over our heads. This is DEFINITELY a two person job. Superior Customer Service. When I originally ordered, the site said that the tiles would be delivered within a few day. The seller contracted me within an hour of me placing my order in order to let me know that they may not have enough of the tile I ordered. The seller then made another follow up call to let me know when the tiles would be available and even checked to make sure that I did indeed order the right tile for my needs. The tiles arrived in PERFECT condition because the packaging was exactly what was needed to protect the tiles from damage. The quality was A+ and the tiles are RIDICULOUSLY beautiful. I am remodeling an 81 year old house. I wanted something unique to showcase the ceilings, so I chose the My Beautiful Damaris Drop-In or Glue-Up PVC Ceiling Tiles. I am remodeling everything on my own and am physically unable to put heavy sheetrock on my ceilings.
