I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. I love this desk! To simplify our golden years we purchased a 2100 sf home. For the office I ordered this desk in Brown (47.23” width) and it fits perfectly. It is well made, the trim and color variation are lovely. Very simple to assemble for two people by attaching the legs to desk. Everything was securely wrapped and padded when boxed for shipment. I no longer need a deep file drawer, as I don’t keep tons of files these days. (I use a portable file box tote that is easily accessible and ready to transport during an emergency).
