This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

This enclosure feels very sturdy and well made. The wooden panels are a bit heavy, but the quality is great, and I really like that every panel has its own lockunlock mechanism. My biggest issue is the small door. It’s especially inconvenient when you’re carrying a baby because you really can’t open and walk through it easily, so I usually end up climbing over the enclosure instead. I also think some of the activity panels needed more thought in terms of how useful they actually are for babies. The panel with all the small holes doesn’t seem very practical since many of the pieces that could be used with it would be choking hazards. The magnetic activity wall was also disappointing. The wall itself isn’t magnetic it just has a few small gray magnets where the included figures attach. Overall, the enclosure itself is beautiful, sturdy, and very well constructed, but I think the door design and baby activity panels could definitely be improved.. Angeline. US. Mon Sep 14 2026

I got this when my German Shepherd was a puppy and I wanted to keep him out of the living room. Actually, I should say my husband was having a meltdown because he kept coming and jumping on him so I put the gate up between the dining room and the living room so my husband could have his own kennel, lol it certainly does the job and there’s a very nice gate . This retractable gate is the perfect solution for our multi-generational home! We have young, energetic dogs that can be too much for my mom to handle. So we got one of the big, clunky gates to keep them downstairs. Unfortunately, it was too hard for my mom to open and close and made her feel trapped. This one is so light that she has no problem. So we can keep our dogs with us and not bothering her, and she can still join us when she wants to without having to call for someone to let her downstairs.. Tracy K. Pennsylvania. Thu Sep 17 2026
