These sheets were discounted because they were leftover holiday patterns. I chose the blue and white plaid and the pine cone patterns. Washed them and put then on the bed. They are absolutely the softest and most comfortable sheets I can ever remember using. Last night was the fist night using them, now I can't wait to crawl into bed . My husband likes them also. Nice crisp cotton sheets that hold up well in the washer and dryer. Haven't had any issues with them shrinking either. The sizing is generous and I've had no problems fitting these onto my mattress. I really love the pattern and quality. These sheets even allow my skin to breathe better. I've always preferred a more crisp sheet than to a soft. These are definitely nothing like a cheap cotton set either, the quality is impressive. They're well worth every penny I spent purchasing them and honestly a great value for the money. These sheets are not particularly thick. The pillow cases barely hold a standard sized pillow. The top sheet only overhangs the top of the bed by 10 inches on each side so there is not a whole lot of extra sheet width. The elastic all the way around the fitted sheet is a really nice feature.
