I bought this 3' x 5' rug pad to try to get my area rug to stop inching it's way across my hall carpet. I received it in the time specified and it was as described on the web site. When I opened it there was no odor coming from the pad. I didn't have to cut it which was nice. After vacuuming both carpets I placed the pad between the carpet and the area rug. I had to look up how to put the pad - felt side down toward the carpet and rubber side against the area rug. A quick set-up sheet would have saved me some time and effort. The pad has added some cushion which makes it nicer to walk on. As for the traveling area rug, it has slowed down and only moves a centimeter or so a day. I purchased this rug for my personal office space- it looked very plus and good on the feet. To my surprise, it is in fact comfy, and a decent size for my desk space. Setup was straightforward, just had to cut the plastic wrap and unravel. For the price, I cant complain, the color is great, and adds some character to the room. The only issue I experienced is that since my desk area is somewhat big and by having a rolling chair, sometimes I fall out of the rug area and the wheel can pull up the rug when trying to get back without lofting.
