I needed this carport to use as an outdoor workspace for upcoming renovations. Its the next best thing to a garage. I do recommend installing the roof canopy after the roof frame has been assembled. Assembling the roof canopy after the frame was fully erected proved to be cumbersome. Highly recommend using a four-step ladder or 6 ft ladder. I was able to assemble alone. I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. Good portable garage and I was very happy with the package contents. It took me 5 hours by myself to put this together am happy with this unit. Let me tell you why. The setup is based on photosimages but the hardware needed is listed by size. The tubular framing is marked and the untalkation image tells it all. Once the frsme was assembled the f t onto, rear the finally the top cover were installed. I was happy at this point with the way everything was going. You now have the lower cross tubular supports to install on each side. After this was completed I adjusted the front and rear tensioners and took a loom at the assembled portable garage. I was very happy and the height was much taller than the one I replaced. Finally and most important. The ground stakes and supports to keep this unit from leaving your yard from the wind. The twist into the ground anchors I faster with is cable and hardware thats not included I used the small ss cable and connectors that kept the last one i had un my yard. I also used heavy duty zip ties and the hammer in spikes for each support on the ground for each upright. I am very happy with this purchase. Just take your time with the intallation.. Charles. I just put this up, and it has the most detailed instructions I've ever seen! All of the parts were there, everything numbered, everything fit together real well, I also like how you can take the ends of the shelter off and back on, Ididn't put them on from the beginning but I don't think it's going to be a big deal you just got to go up under the collar that comes around the end to keep weather out when you do have the ends on there. I'm not using the anchoring ropes into the ground, taking one to a tree and the other two into the house. I'll just have to wait and see if it can stand up to South Florida weather. I received the 2 packages, everything seems to be there except all the screws to assemble it.
