I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. 100 perfect choice. With many bad discs in my back I often need release from pain. This is my go to solution. Excellent pressure from the JETS and the colors when the lights are on are absolutely amazing. They rotate colors and fill the room with the colorful accents. It was lightweight and the installers were able to get it set up fairly quickly. We believe it has added value to our home because it transformed that bathroom into a beautiful space. This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. We did have the contractors put foam under the bathtub for extra support even though the manufacturer instructions did not say to mud or anything underneath. It can feel a little flexible so I am glad we did the extra support. It's not terrible to step out of but I did put a chair in the bathroom for my mom when she used our shower so that she had support getting out of the slightly taller tub.
