7/9/26: update - Customer service has been excellent, responsive and happy with resolution. Voiced my complaint with them and they are replacing the frame for the couch. Can't complain about that. I'll update again if there are no issues with this frame. Outside of that issue, the other pieces are great and very comfortable. OG review: Very disappointed. Had high hopes since my mom has had a plywood set for years and it's quality. Struggled with the idea of spending so much but decided it would be worth it for a quality set that would last for years. Well, that thought was ended the first time we sat on the couch. First off, assembly was a breeze. I completed by myself in a few hours, taking my time because it was extremely hot. But the next morning, went out to have coffee, husband sat on couch, leaned forward to pick up his cup and we heard a pop. He joked about my shotty work putting it together but when we looked we saw it was the prefabricated piece that had broke. IDK if it's just glued together there but it was not strong enough for him to lean forward to grab his coffee. Now, he isn't a tiny guy but he's not huge either, weighes about 220 so in my mind this "quality" furniture should be able to support that. Not sure what kind of customer service help we can get since I am not disassembling everything to send back. Just very surprised and disappointed in Polywood. Doesn't seem to be the quality it once was.. Katherine. PA. Thu Jul 09 2026

Love this sectional. Very sturdy. Some reviews mentioned the back cushions being thin, we fluffed the filler up before putting the covers on and do not notice any issues. Highly recommend.. Jennifer. Erie, CO. Thu Apr 30 2026

This chair made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Its modern minimalist design allows it to seamlessly blend with various patio styles. Most importantly, furniture made from this material is sturdy, durable, highly weight-bearing, and offers comfortable seating for extended use. The cross-back chair design ensures better breathability for your back during hot summer days, enjoying romantic moments with family even in drizzly weather.

I saw this set in the spring but thought I'd get one more summer from my old picnic table. Then I saw it on sale and decided to get it and set it up next spring. But we assembled it quickly - great directions and diagrams- and put it out by our pool area. Since we've closed up everything for winter, I can't show the finished look, but I'm hoping it will fare well with snow and wind. I'm happy it's HDPE material as my neighbor's expensive "soy" Adirondack chairs are being chewed up by squirrels. I did spray the screw heads black to not be so noticeable. All in all, I'm please with the set, the price and looking forward to using it next summer.. Denise. Elburn, IL. Thu Oct 15 2026

Custom-fit this modern modular set to your outdoor space with one of two configurations. With sleek, angular lines, the EDGE 4-piece modular deep seating set seats three to four people and features plush pillow-back cushions as well as supportive seat cushions covered in high-performance outdoor fabric.

The set is great. Comfy. Good Looking. Fairly light weight. Seems like the Polywood will be very durable. Easy to put together. Each of the back pieces has 4 holes for screws, 2 on the bottom and 2 midway up. One complaint - one of the back pieces had a production defect. It had holes drilled on the top instead of the bottom. And there is only one way it can sit, so you could not flip it. So this piece only has screws screwed in on the bottom. One of the photos is the defect and one of the photos is correct. The pillow covers it however.. Colleen. NV. Sat May 20 2023
