I loved the idea of this set, the two seats with the tabletop connecting them was ideal for my space. HDPE construction seemed comfortable to similar "Polywood" types of furniture at a reasonable price point. As I unpacked the box, I found that the furniture is "blow molded", so it's hollow on the inside, similar to children play house or playground equipment. These chairs are awesome! They replaced the traditional wooden Adirondack chairs with many slats. They were wooden and therefore had to be constantly repainted. Mother Nature won out in the end.
