Chairs are nice but bolts that came with chairs barely or did not have the proper length to tighten properly! We sent a letter to the company on May 20th and have had no response. They need to provide longer bolts! We bought four chairs and like the quality of the chairs just not the hardware that came with them. We would like stainless steel bolts sent to us for all four chairs longer than what is supplied by manufacturer. Once that is done our rating will be better!. Desiree. Just arrived today, easily put together within 40 minutes and that’s only because I’m very thorough like to check all pieces before assembling. My husband could have done much faster in less time. So that tells you anyone can assemble these chairs , any gender any age. Easy instructions, all items were included and one tool was all I needed which came with the screws. I’m extremely satisfied with this item. So glad I went with the poly wood instead of solid. No worries with chipping or having to stain it. Purchased 4 lime green chairs. They were very well packaged in heavy cardboard and parts wrapped in bubble wrap. Each part was labeled for assembly. All hardware came separated on a card which showed the letter designation corresponding to the instructions as well as the size. The card also contained a open end wrench and a T-handle Allen wrench for assembly. Instructions were very clear and showed details for assembly. Each chair took approx.30-40 minutes for unpacking and assembly. I was able to do by myself without the need of a second person. The only issue from me giving this 5 stars was the quality of the hardware. In each chair I received 1 screw that was an issue. I didn't think this was a big deal when having issue with the first chair but this became more annoying with each subsequent chair. I had a screw what was different from the others not in length but that it required a smaller Allen wrench (4mm) than what was supplied (5mm). Luckily I had one. Two other chairs had an issue with the quality of the screw's Allen wrench opening which was rounded out not allowing the Allen wrench to tighten the screw. Another chair came with a screw which didn't have any opening for the Allen wrench. These minor issues on there own weren't terrible but when added up took away from an otherwise very positive experience. Overall these chairs were half the price of some others and the quality of the material was good, the pieces all fit and holes lined-up. They seem higher quality than the price...perhaps not the same as the Polywood 300 chairs but if these are weatherproof and hold up as expected they are definitely worth the price difference (and no wait time!). Chairs were exactly as expected and color was true to the description. In the house they looked sort of dark brown but once outside, they looked dark grey. Definitely easier with 2 people to assemble, will go a lot faster! Only issue was the base on one of the chairs was quite scratched. Other than that, they are great chairs!. Tanya.
