The comforter is soft and has some weight to it, exactly what I was looking for for a Michigan winter. I was leary of the linen but it's soft on both sides. I washed it to remove a slight smell and it took three dryer cycles on low to dry. Came out very wrinkled so it had to be steamed. After several hours it's perfect!
