I purchased these chairs as an alternative to the heavier Adirondack chairs you typically see. These will have to be removed from a grass area every week so I needed something I can stack and move with ease. They are a bit heavier than I expected, but still much lighter than a traditional Adirondack chair. While they do stack, they don’t stack in a tight stack. They are very comfortable and seem sturdy. Really happy with these Adirondack chairs! Took less than an hour to get both assembled by myself, although the locking nuts for some of the bolts are a bit of a pain to get on (built in triangular metal ring vs something like injected nylon), but other than that, pretty straight forward. They feel sturdy when deployed and fold up reasonably compact, although there's nothing to keep it in folded mode for easy carrying Maybe a couple straps will help. Best part is how comfortable they are and the ability to recline and deploy the fold away foot rest!
