It was honestly scary for a minute…it comes vacuum sealed and small enough to be doll furniture. It actually did grow to the pictured size. It’s labeled as beanbag, but it’s dense. Holds its shape unlike traditional beanbags. Lacks back support like a beanbag though. Very soft and comfy for lounging, probably not for doing homework. This chair is HUGE! I thought this was going to be a kids size bean bag chair, it’s big. Both of my granddaughters can sit in this chair. It’s very soft but heavy. It’s not the old school bean bag chair which were light and fluffy. It feels similar to pieces of memory foam. Took two of us to get it upstairs in a room. I like it but definitely takes up space.
