The bed is very low but that’s something I was looking for. For the guest room I did add some bed elevation blocks only because I have items stored underneath. We put this bed in one of our bedroom's a couple weeks ago and I keep forgetting it's not something we've had forever — it just fits. The headboard is the first thing you notice.
