Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. This is a nice looking sofa at a good price! I like the shape and the fabric. A few things to note: 1) I ordered "brown" but it really reads "gray"; however, the color is pretty neutral so it goes with anything; add some pillows and it looks great; 2) the back is FIRM so you really sit upright on it; this isn't something you sink into; 3) it's really comfortable to lay down on, which is what I wanted. I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa. I love this olive green sofa. Another reviewer described it as more brown than green but in my space it is the perfect dark green. It is very well made and stylish. It does show every little dimple from whatever you might have in your pocket, including a cell phone, so it makes the cushion look weird in the picture. But just a brush of the hand smooths it out. It was very nicely packaged with a reusable cover and a large piece of foam about a half inch thick. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
