Pittsburgh Crank Desk

Our Brio adjustable-height desk features an industrial-style crank that lets you smoothly raise and lower the wooden desktop to suit your needs. Crafted of solid mango wood and cast iron. The angled braces and sturdy feet provide stability. Inspired by industrial-era functionality and style, this desk is a dynamic addition to any office.

Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors. Make sure the desk is locked off- the tee stop handle is on the backside of the right leg. Again, love it!. Annamarie. Victor, ID. Tue Jan 23 2024

I bought this desk a while ago and used it very successfully since. I like the way it’s designed so it can be lowered or raised quite a lot and tilted so it functions like a type of an adjustable easel for me, much better than my old drawing desk. The work surface doesn’t seem very durable but, for for, me it’s not an issue because I have it covered anyway.. Barbara. FL. Thu Jun 04 2026

This table is EXACTLY what we have brn searching for. A 48 inch,ROUND table that is bar height...not easy to find. But we did and we are so happy with this table. My husband did put a clear coat over the wood. It seemed like if anything spilled it would have soaked into the table. Its beautiful, great quality, we highly recommend. Now to find some matching stools, the search begins. . Tom. Leadville, CO. Wed May 04 2022

There was a hole in the package when it arrived so I figured it had some damage but had to unwrap it to see for sure. It’s heavy for me so I put the legs together and then put the top on and that’s where it was dinged. I’ll keep it since I can put something on top of the ding. It’s a center ding the size of a dime with small, less obvious dings around it. I’m fairly sure it was damaged in transit. Overall it’s a very nice piece and works well for the home I’m staging.. The tilting top allows you to adjust the angle to suit your creative projects, whether you're sketching or working on architectural plans. This is a good looking, sturdy table of quality! I love the look of the desk. One word of caution, the tilt mechanism has “wiggle room” where the round peg fits into an oval opening instead of a round opening and therefore the top teeters a bit. Am I the only one with this issue If you have any advice regarding the seesaw please let me know!!! . Melanie. Edgewater, MD. Thu Jun 04 2026

Just because it’s not crystal clear in the description: This table has a working mechanism that can drop it to chair height and raise it to high-top with locking hand-bolts. Also, someone commented that the table top is not “sturdy” - that is not true. You could perform an autopsy on a 300 .lb man on this table. It may be a tad pricey, but it is unique and I wager will actually appreciate. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase.. Phillip. FL. Sat Dec 06 2025

(Adjustable and Extendable)The top table can be adjusted 0-75 degrees. It adapts to different working environments.
