The assembly was straight forward with no issues. Had a little bit of an issue set it up to my iPhone but easily fixed by reducing my text size. My first cook was amazing. Delivery was quick and the package arrived in great shape. I was a bit worried about assembly after reading some mixed reviews, but my 12-year-old kid and I put it together in just over an hour. The instructions were surprisingly clear and straightforward — zero frustration!  The 2-in-1 grill and griddle design is brilliant. Having the option to sear steaks on the grill side while doing bacon, eggs, and smashed burgers on the griddle at the same time makes hosting so easy. The cooking surface is huge! This grill took quite a long time to put together and the directions aren’t very clear. Definitely set aside at least a half a day if not more and you will need two people. The item came damaged and Wayfair has always been great about their customer service.
